We don’t teach “One Size Fits All” group childbirth classes because there is no size that fits all. Every woman sees her birth through the lens of her own lived experiences, and no two women need the same information in the same way. Birth preparation is so much more than understanding how the body works and what a labor and birth timeframe is according to statistical averages. Our Childbirth Educator takes the time to learn about each individual woman.
Hours and number of meeting times are determined on your base knowledge and goals for labor and birth. An average course consists of 3, 3 hour sessions and includes workbooks.
Private Lactation Education
If this is your first breastfed baby:
Breastfeeding is the most natural way to feed your baby, so it should just be instinctual…right?
Sometimes…but it can also be tricky! Knowing how to initiate and continue breastfeeding after birth is crucial for a comfortable and successful breastfeeding experience.
If you’ve experienced breastfeeding challenges in the past:
If you stopped breastfeeding early, supplemented with formula, or struggled with pain or supply issues, the thought of attempting to breastfeed again can be overwhelming and scary. But we’ll go over your previous experiences and pinpoint what worked, what didn’t, and how to prepare for a new, more positive experience.

Newborn 101 & Pre-Baby Relationship Prep.
Life with your partner experiences its own transition from a family of 2 to 3 (or more!) It’s necessary to do the work before baby arrives to open up honest communication about what each partner needs from the other in areas of support, love, and partnership. We will discover what both partners believe about birth and parenting in a safe space with the intention to grow into Parenthood together. We want to provide your child with a safe and loving environment to thrive in, and being on the same page as your partner is a beautiful, necessary first step.
Newborn babies are equipped with fascinating instincts and reflexes that give you clues as to how to meet their needs. Your intuition is strong, but it takes time to learn how to listen to it and trust it. No matter how you choose to feed your baby, it’s important to understand how to do so with safety and confidence.
